Achieving deep relaxation and peaceful sleep is the primary goal of using specialized nighttime bath salts or soaks.

Relax Muscles: Easing tension and reducing aches that might keep you awake. Calm the Nervous System. The most common sleep aid in aromatherapy. It is scientifically linked to reducing anxiety and improving overall sleep quality. Known for its gentle, soothing, and anti-anxiety properties, promoting a deep, tranquil state. Often used for grounding and their deep, earthy scent, which helps to anchor the mind and promote a feeling of safety and stillness.

The warmth of the bath itself naturally raises your body temperature, and when you step out, the subsequent cooling signals your body it’s time to rest, perfectly complementing the chemical and aromatic effects of the salts.

HOW TO USE?

Here is a quick summary of the non-tub usage options for your bath salts:

  1. Foot Soak:

    • How: Fill the basin, bucket, or plastic tub deep enough to cover your ankles with very warm (comfortably hot) water .

    • Dissolve 2 Tbsp to 1/4 cup of salt. Soak feet for 15-30 minutes.

    • Best For: Sleep Well (for relaxation) and Limefresh (for revitalisation).

  2. Shower Scrub:

    • How: Mix a handful (1 Tbsp) of salt with water, body wash, or oil to make a paste. Gently scrub skin in the shower, then rinse. Keep for 2-3 mins.

  3. Aromatherapy Steam:

    • Best For: Highly scented salts like Sleep Well (for calming) and Limefresh (for clearing airways).

  4. Bathtub
    1. Dissolve fully: Mix 1 to 2 tsps of salt in the tub of warm water until completely dissolved.

    2. Soak OR Pour: You can either soak for 15-20 minutes, or simply use a cup to scoop and pour the dissolved salt water over your body as a cleansing rinse.

    3. You can use a salt strainer to handle all types of loose-leaf or herbs.
